thanks for the link man. In all honesty, i've seen that list in about 4 different forums now, and the majority of the links are dead, but if you spend time going through each one of them, you find some decent stuff now and then

It'd be cool to see an updated list of which of these is still up and running and still handing out free samples. The only one i can think of for free shit is:

freesound.iua.upf.edu/ --- The Free Sound Project - Fucking kills it.

highly, HIGHLY reccomend this website. They've even got samples of ice breaking that i used in my latest track. Underwater recordings, tyco (sp?) drums, keys jangling, rain, thunder, you name it, its probably on there. i have more samples from there than i'll know what to do with, and iv'e barely downloaded anything!

if you like si begg's stuff then check his website for a free online library of loads of his samples. scafe as fuck.

awesome google trick to find samples on the internets

so let's say you need some snares. type in the following:

?intitle:index.of? wav snare

and you have 5 pages of open directories full of snares. change snare to whatever kind of sample you are looking for and it will most likley show up on there.



doesn't just work for samples either, works for any file type. So you could change wav to jpg, and do a search for double penetration, S&M, lesbians, etc......
