That's what I think.
Not very constructive, really, but there you go. Better than another complaining thread

So the new Deep Medis, new Geiom, new Pangaea, load of new Wheel & Deal, albums by Joker, Skream, Ikonika, Magnetic Man, Ghost, Studio Rockers and Darkstar that are all ready or almost ready to drop aren't enough for you?

There is a lot of shit, too.
But i've to agree. The good things are better than they've ever been!
Especially the dubstep-influenced dnb tunes by Spectrasoul, Instra:Mental, dBridge, Consequence and so on are BIG!

My research shows that Dubstep is currently and always will be going through exponential growth until the day we all jump on the funky bandwagon. The more people who become involved with the sound equals more music being produced.
However, what I dislike about the current situation is the fact digital saturates the market. Anyone can put out any shit tune for any price and people will buy it.
I'll stick to vinyl thanks.
Fuck you datsik, excsion, borgore, cookie monsta and any other ten for a penny producers that make absolute shite.
RIP our favourite dish cloth.

a-fuckin-xactly!!! i cant stop thinking of it, what a beatiful times!! new albums from Rustie, Vex'd, Flying Lotus and Starkey also should be up that list - their new shite is probably one of the most exiting things i've actually seen in music whatsoever! and what about new Burial or new Zomby - head explosion!

nice.
I dont think excision (tearout or not he is a good producer) should be lumped in there but I get your point.. there needs to be some control in what saturates a scene..

At the same time there are a lot of people out there totally having all these artists you mentioned there. I just looked at the beatport top 100 today jeeesh these guys are making some cash.
At the moment I am really feeling the subtle darkness of Kryptic Minds, Headhunter, Scuba, Breakage, etc. I am not really feeling the sloppy production that seems to be all the rage around here at the moment but thats whats great anyone should be able to go through the stack and find something that fits their personality. If not you need to make your own!

there are some superior things but many inferior
plenty of producers are seemingly past their best....still making good tunes but not as fucking awesome as before...not gonna name names obviously
people like geiom are going from strength to strength as is gravious though...
also a lot of way more awful music comin from the scene than there was in 2006...then there wasn't any such term as shit chainsaw bass....the aggy stuff was just as fucking incredible as the best deep stuff...ala vex'd..
