they're definitely worth it and they cost fuck all anyway

few quid to prevent hearing damage for the rest of your life? you'd be an idiot not too

if you get on with these ones then i highly recommend upgrading to the moulded ones as you don't even notice they're there.... just don't get drunk and drop and lose one like i did :(

I wear either Quies or Bio Ears.

You can pick either of them up in Boots or most chemists

Lol at paying for earplugs, I get them free at work but to be fair they are just cheap foam ones, but still they do the job as good as the £100 plugs you can buy. They're yellow though.

Hijacking thread:

Want to get my missus some decent earplugs for my missus as she is a really light sleeper and there is a lot of noise in our house....

Any recommendations? As they are for sleeping, don't need to look good, just need to be purely functional? I was thinking something like these but fuck knows if they would be any good....

+1 for the Elacins. Much better than foam ones and just as easy to lose as expensive ones.

No they don't, they don't have a flat frequency response so music will sound muffled, plus you cant really wear foam ones with headphones if you're DJing.

This is true, I still use foam ones though :) Got a little key-chain container for em. Might get some better ones and still use that key-chain thing :4:

true. you can't really use the er-20s when you're djing either coz of how they stick out.

Booked in an appt to get some customs fitted (at my local Boots no less haha), I assume I'll end up with ER25s.

Stupidly expensive...but (I'd say), worth whatever money you're charged for them.

If I ever lose my hearing....I'll most likely want to die.

But whats the point,

wear earplugs > the sounds quieter
dont wear earplugs > hearing loss > sounds quieter

Either way the sounds quieter

though plugs do avoid that awful pain the moment you get away
