Anyone have one of these? I got one about 8 months ago and loved the sound and sequencing stuff you can do with it, but I've only broken it out of the box 5-6 times total due to work/gaming/life etc.. =P It's a great and capable piece of gear, I just don't use outboard gear very often because I love what I use.. Cubase SX3, VSTs, massive, kontakt, etc.. Theyre my staples and I cant get away from making my tracks completely this way. Sometimes I'll add some microkorg or mopho or some circuitbent sounds etc on an audio track but mostly just record sounds and sample them digitally. I do use the free Sound editor from soundtower.com though, sometimes. Although I can edit just as well without it..

I am gonna start a bank of the sounds I've edited/made on the mopho, but I only have 10-15 patches so far for one. Cool sounds though, with a lot of evolving/knobtweaking capabilities, I'll work on them again later tonight, maybe in a week or two I'll have a nice bank to share w/ others.. PM me if you want to privately share/trade presets/banks.

Anyone else have any good patches/banks for this thing? Know of any sites with collections of patches? It's been awhile since I searched for that kinda stuff, last time was for a roland JV1080 almost 10 years ago haha. I did find a few, posting the link @ the bottom. Hook it up if you know any resources!

I have a mopho and I love it! I usually just start with the basic patch and build a new one everytime. That software editor is kinda fucked though. It seems like it has a problems with patches I made (does presets fine). So I just edit by hand now. It's kind of a bitch, but it works.

yea the editor seemed to work fine as a starting point, had trouble editing sounds i had made directly on the mopho as well. i have only used this thing a few times since ive had it really, but it sounds great, except for the stepping when manually doing cutoff runs w/ the knobs etc

but i made an interesting kinda acid house intro part with some sounds yesterday which was interesting to lead into some dirty breaks/dubstep..

maybe i can grab a midi interface today and get the editor going again, left a borrowed 1 @ a friends house over the wknd.. doh

i had a play on one of these before, there so small and pretty powerful for the size!

Gotta love the Mopho, just lent mine out to a friend who's thinkin of buying one, but as soon as i get it back i'll make a sample pack to post.

Thats for sure, first it deleted all the names for the presets and turned them into wingdings or some shit, now it just crashes randomly every half hour or so, usually when i get a wicked sound goin and forget to save
