I used to get upset that I had to work on christmas eve, my condolences.

This will sound cheesy, but I figured out that if you can make one honest, concerted effort to do something kind for someone else (i just did mine about an hour ago by bringing butter tarts to my old co-workers), it'll give you a great feeling that should last you until boxing day.

Had the chance of working this year if I wanted but nah, I work with addicts and the homeless all year round, get spat at, hit, and threats. This is two weeks of the year where they can get to fuck.... (but god do I feel guilty about thinking that?!)
