All depends on the player ; )
My pet hate instrument is tambourine (I do not mind the instrument) but recording
it is a pain in the A**, gets everywhere, distant sounding tambourine in every mic
in the room, if I mic'd it up 9/10 times the mic would be at -35dB on the fader.
Or worse still.... the singing drummer, cripes almighty, nothing like drumkit spill through
a dynamic mic completely ruining your fat drum sound, thank god for overdubs.
