who out there knows who eoto is?
if so, do you like em? improv dubstep is pretty cool but sometimes it gets a little too trancy for me i'd say.
i was wondering if they are even known in the UK too, they have been getting big in the US for a couple years....playin big festivals and lots of late night shows....
i wonder what equipment they use, and if they premake some loops/leads or if it actually 100% live looping/recording up on the stage.
who's down with eoto?

Sub Swara did 3 (fantastic) shows w/ the eoto boys this past fall.
everything they do is live; both guys have a MBP working as a soundsource, running ableton. Travis also runs an MBP that functions as a mixer for both of 'em, while Jason's got a lemur that lets him control ableton w/ 1 hand-- useful when drumming. he'll record and loop himself, but apparently there's no pre-loaded loops-- just sounds, arpeggio's, etc.
pretty tremendous live sets and the audiences were absolutely having it-- inspiring to see. we've got more dates w/ them coming up in late winter/early spring; will let the DSF massive know!

wow, no pre loaded loops or anything, that's so badass, they must know eachothers playing styles like the back of their own hand...all those years jammin with string cheese and now this, great musicians, i highly recommend anyone who hasn't heard of em to check em out!
