lol really interested in Logic huh?

Bad news: You can't buy logic pro on it's own :( I know it made me sad too

Good news : Floating around is the link to an educational copy of Logic Studio 9 for about £120 I think. That's where I got mine from, couldn't tell you where but search the forum, if anyone remembers where please send our good man here the link and reward him for investing in a fairly solid DAW

hahaha well done.

Like I said there is a link around for Logic studio at £120. I'm a student and for my establishment I got quoted a student deal for around £300 of course I quickly hung up the phone and ordered this deal. Different price for different places but they don't chek if you're a student they just take your money and send it off.

I bought Logic studio off a computer in my university library for £120 last month. I think its a set rate, because there's no chance Apple have any sort of Logic deal with us, there's not even a music course here

My setup has always been legit, something i'm proud of. I'm getting to grips with the ES2 and all the other internals, the only synth i've bought is the Analogue VA-1.

Everything else is freeware! But then, this is easier said on Logic than most other DAWs due to the great inserts and synths that come standard.

I got mine for 120 ish too, well worth doing! No proof of enrolment was needed, just had to order it from within the university campus I think. If you've got any mates at uni, try and convince them to do it for you. 120 for all of logic is a god damn joke it's so cheap :D

I didn't even need that I clicked a link and ordered it in my front room.

Trying to get my setup legit too, so far I have 3 pieces of cracked music software, battery 3, blue and melodyne. The rest I own and I will probably end up buying melodyne at some point.

anyone got a link for that big discount? the student discount on apples website only dropped the price down to $450.....ill be switching to a mac in february or so and i'd like to still keep ableton for all the dj/live stuff, but im thinking logic would be pretty awesome to have for more of a traditional arrangement daw.
