nothing special here but i can't help recommending any of the NI synths. Massive is awesome for filthy sounds, but all the presets are very atmospheric and highly tweakable.

For atmospherics I'd recommend blue, been using it to create some nice bass too

Logic comes with the ES2, a great synth for basslines. It's pretty much all i use.
Here's some fantastic videos to get you on your way;

Explore the ES2 synth in Logic for a bit, and then pick up a synth that does something different. Albino 3 gets plenty of praise, I'm thinking about picking it up. And Massive is pretty awesome too. Both can be had for less than $200(ea).

ES2 and logic's eternally-under-represented synth, SCULPTURE.
es2 is way more powerful that is immediately evident. look around on the logic pro forum for some of the patches folks have built.
sculpture is just insane. a bit of an ungainly beast, sure, but a fantastic instrument.
