To sell or not to sell (and starve)

Man, I might be making a bad choice but it might have to be done...Long story short I cant be unemployed anymore so I have to move. Basicly I am moving with about $20 for food and gas thats supposed to last till the end of the month, at which time I will have about $50 spending for the next two weeks...After that it shouldent be as brutal, but who knows right...
Anyway I somehow came up with a plan to sell my pad kontrol and/or my oxygen8 v2 along with my 24/96 pci card which isint a big deal since my PC shit the bed anyway. But now I got offers on both controllers and nothing on the sound card. I could stand to lose one controller without missing it all that much, I dont use the PK all that much anyway, and dont use the oxy8 as much as I should. But I know I will want to use them once there gone.
I dont know why I'm even writing this...I guess I'm just venting, I know what needs to be done and I keep telling my self I will buy something better down the road. But it's like putting an old dog down or something...Selling my gear for food and CC bills seems like a gay reason to me.

Such is life I guess.

Yeah ive been there im just such a schtiggler about my equipment ive never been able to let it go. But when it comes to food and all that, well think about whats really the most important thing right now. try just selling the PK and seeing how long that can last you and if it gets worse then let go of the oxygen. good luck

hope things get better for you.

Bro, I've sold some gear and regret it badly. FS1R comes to mind.
But controllers... I suppose they are interchangeable.
Gotta live within your means, bro. No weed, no fun, no alcohol, no nights out, no gifts for the lady. Bare minimum, beans and rice and water, some bread. Don't do that credit card stuff, it's a trap designed to enslave you. Don't be a willing slave. Fight that shit.

To quote Pete Rock. So why does it have to be so damn TOUGH.
Thanks for the kind words evryone, I feel better about doing it. I know it's not that big of a deal, but sucks none the less. At least I can get a new sweet controller down the road. It's always good (well not good but you know) to know other people have gone thru this kind of thing as well.
Heres to all of us unemployed motherfuckers finding a well paying job pronto.

Things will defo get better but you have to put a legit effort into finding something new. Someone said this on here earlier today - make your job, looking for a job. It is great advice. I was in a really bad place a few months ago and things are getting a lot better for me already. I once again made it through without selling anything. If I did have to sell I have a ton of records I could get rid of. It isn't really a sellers market right now tho from what I gather anyway.

Gutted man

I'd hate to have to sell my stuff to pay for anything... tbh, I'd rather just eat 7p ASDA noodles instead lol :3
I'm kinda worried myself about what kinda market for jobs I'm gonna be coming out into once I've finished my uni course... I mean, the sensible thing for me to have done was to possibly get a degree in Business or something that's got wider implications at the end of the course, but instead I've chosen a Music Tech degree and as a result I've really kinda suckered myself lol
So methinks my plan is to try and get a part-time job at a supermarket doing mind-numbing stuff and then trying to find an apprenticeship at a studio... Either that, or pester clubs or something

But I don't like the uncertainty of it all... Harsh times we live in fellas, harsh times.

That's part of what i love, if you're doing a business law degree you already know exactly what you want to do, and what you'll probably end up in.
The diversity of what i could potentially land in after completing my Audio and Music Production degree is what i love.

If you're graduating with a law degree, at least in the states, the only thing that you're going to be doing is standing in the unemployment line.
