Optimist or Pessimist?

Post by faust.dtc » Fri Jan 15, 2010 11:12 am

Are you an optimist or a pessimist?

Would you say you are usually a 'glass half full' or a 'glass half empty' kind of person?

Pessimist. Big time! Rationally i should be okay about the sociology exam today but every part of me feels i'm going to fuck up. Can't even focus on last minute revision. :x

Then again, i think that was just my biology on tuesday, it's pretty much crushed any confidence i have in doing well in anything.

A musician must make music, an artist must paint, a poet must write, if he is to be ultimately at peace with himself. What a man can be, he must be.

I consider myself a realist, although it's generally percieved as being pessimistic I think.

Thanks! Looking through the past papers there's been no essay questions on marxism since 2004 so fingers crossed that will come up. If i get an essay question on marriage or divorce, i'm screwed lol.

Pessimist. Unrealistically pessimistic. With a vein of optimism that gives you something to wake up for in the morning I suppose.

Definite optimist. My friends/family have all come to know something is seriously wrong if I'm not smiling or finding positives in a situation.

I sit on the fence, I'm more of a "It's half a glass" neither half full nor half empty. WHERE IS MY MIDDLE CHOICE IN THIS POLL?

Both. I am optimistic about somethings and pessimistic about others. I'm optimistic enough to know that the things i'm pessimistic about can be changed.
