would love suggestions regarding the overall mix, my speakers are crap and i am not a mastering wiz... criticisms, witticisms and general meanness encouraged!

Dude, ths tunes aweosme, lovin the funky vibes to he synths... but, you know the horn sound that goes off after the intro drums? Your second post has to be explainin to me how to synth that!!! I started a thread about it a while back n got nothin for responses.
Re: listen to a song i have made with my hands
that sound is a lot easier to sample than synthesize, it could be done, it would be a gently ascending and then more rapidly descending pitch envelope on a dirty saw wave maybe? but it's just a sample of an air horn..
i cant remember where i got that one from, but here is the first one i came up with on a quick search.
http://deadlydragonsound.com/resources/ ... ogHorn.mp3
where i live there is a dancehall night and that sound is on the djs sampler, he hits it between nearly every song. it's nice.
edit: that should have been reversed, rapidly rising and then more gradually decaying pitch. too much beer. just stick to the beer.
