to be honest, I sort of agree, although J_J didn't voice it in the most diplomatic way (which don't really bother me).

there are a lot of tunes being upped here which I don't think are that great, in fact I've only heard a handful of producers whose tunes I would even think about cutting & playing out.

There are also a lot of people asking for 320k MP3s to play out/on the radio or whatever - a symptom of everyone's desire to have a few more exclusive/unreleased tunes and be a part of dubplate culture. IMO though, this leads to a drop in quality control which personally I don't think does much for the scene.

there are definitely alot less tunes under the dubstep bracket getting made that I like, although I'm generally much more excited about labels and individual artists than the general scene of the artist's brand name anyway so I couldn't care less.

Agreed to a certain extent, but I believe it also HELPS
quality control in a certain way as well. IMO it could
possibly push people to learn more and to only get
better and better at producing beatz.

What's the saying? The cream rises to the top?

True people have to do a little bit more listening
but isn't that a good thing?

Especially when you find a new producer that simply
has some sick beats and def sounds like they are
only going to keep on making sick tracks/beats?

For better or for worse. . .
because of this forum, people have been able to find
out more and more about the music, communicate more,
and communicate to the people that make it as well . . .

From the big guys all the way down
to the lickle peeps making some serious bangers.

I love that feeling of discovery!

Personally, if I try and ask for anything off someone. . .
it's cos it's so damn dope and not out, nor does anyone
know when it it going to come out etc etc.

For instance, Moldy's cowbell tune. . . not sure if it will
ever see a proper release but I try to rock it every time I play
out anywhere in public cos it's such a sick tune and I love it!

Shit, it's almost time to cut it AGAIN! lololol.
