i'm sitting at my desk listening to my mate playing the bass over Ventrilo, a sound communication software. He plays these very mellow, dreamy pieces. He made them himself. The way he plays his instrument, the sound seems to softly touching your ears, crawling soft to you back, giving you once in a while a soft, warm chill. He plays very slow and with much feeling. He has this reverb panel which makes everything flow into eachother without making it sound to muddy. He also plays high notes at the same time that sound very soft sweet. The bad recording of his built-in apple computer isn't of the best quality but it adds certain character to the sound, and trust me it sounds very nice. Sometimes i can hear a car driving by his house which adds even more to the special mood. I like it when he plays for me

We are planning to actually do something with his melodies and sounds. Add some experimental sampler fx, add some guitar from another mate, weird deep beats, so on ...
