Bus Levels...
Say I'm sending a kick, snare and hihats to bus. Do I want my instrument levels peaking around -1 within the bus, and then bring the bus level down to -12? Or, should I leave the bus volume at 0, and send my instrument levels to -12 within the bus? Or does it not make any difference? Sorry if that doesn't make any sense I'll try and clarify. Cheers.
Re: Bus Levels...
I personally would keep the group bus at 0, and use the sends to send the right amount to the bus. Or route the output of each individual drum hit to that bus, and use the faders on each hit.
