This video is intended for those that are involved in the Dubsteppers For Haiti Dubstep Compilations.
I wasn't able to get everyone on Volume 2 the way I thought it would go originally. To those that are offended, please don't be as you'll be placed on the next compilation (or the one to follow... just don't trip, we're doing our best ). I've put great thought and emphasis on creating a unique and meaningful compilation. Please listen to this video if somehow you are confused..... also refer to this thread for further info on Volume 3 http://www.dubstepforum.com/dubsteppers ... 25757.html
Listen to this Video if you have concerns or would like to get to know me and my intentions better. YOU MUST LISTEN TO THE WHOLE THING TO UNDERSTAND THE POINT I'M TRYING TO CONVEY
Here's what's up This project was something that just sorta came up out of the blue and it was not an easy task. At this point, it seems that some people got on board due to some of the names that were put up on the first Vol 2 thread. You can (or you can't lol) imagine how much work went into this, the ego's involved, the time, the fix this... fix that.... just the entire thing has been a REAL BIG project that even myself would have not been able to have foreseen.
Some of the artists that were listed on Vol 2 just weren't able to get me product fast enough. Whether it was due to personal reasons, being on tour, or just being too busy to get the product to me soon enough. But these artists will be placed over to the Volume 3 thread and we'll just keep on truckin.
Volume 3 is going to be a collaboration between myself and Stupid Fly Records. We've discussed it and we are going to "pool" our resources. We feel that it would be best to try and go in a "collective" direction with it.... meaning that 12th Planet, Roommate, Lukki, Audiowright, Stagga, Matty G, etc will be placed on Volume 3 as the theme fits it better, in our opinion.
Volume One was put together on the fly, literally up in two days, so that's why there are so many styles on the first Volume. Volume 2 (after seeing all of the product in one spot) was composed of a certain sound or "style" of Dubstep that I thought was appropriate. Volume 3 will have a more "Reggae" or "Deeper" style to it. And to round out the whole project, Vol 4 will be with Twenty Twelve records and will have many different styles like Volume one did.
I'm off to upload this release right now. Thanks for your time in reading this and for your understanding.
Dubsteppers For Haiti FTW!!!!!!!!!!
(I'll be back to post up links here shortly to the release etc)
