Ryan Merry a.k.a. Ghosts on Tape self describes his sound as “electro-dancehall-crunk-reggaeton-turbo grime-tropical bootie-psychedelic-trax era chicago house-speed garage-miami bass-with lots of synthetic hand claps on basically every song”.
While that explanation is pretty good I think you’re really going to have to come out and experience it for your self. His new single “Predator Mode”, which includes a remix from UK Funky star Roska, made both Boomkat and XLR8R’s top release lists of 2009.
