sensative ninjas, how long is it ok to mourn your first love? im talking the first girl you thuogh you might marry?
im around 4 months.
TBH i dream about that one every night but at this point she is long gone i think.
any comments/ opinons?

i had my first love for 3 years rock solid then something went off and she left me feeling like a PIECE of shit...still love her...still think she was the most beautiful girl of alltime..
but what am i gonna do...
im not the same guy i was 4 years ago..l(then i was much cooler and had more sex appeal.)
im hung up but trying my hardest to move on and after 4 months of not being with her i feel like im finally moving forwarss instead of backwards.
first love is first love though ya? whats reasonable amount of time for me keep being an insane jealous, regretful alchoholic and general miscreant?

It's such a fucking cliché but time is the healer. You will probably never really completely get over her but you will adapt and probably come out a better person(failing that a bitter woman hating old fuck...).
I came close the other day, 5 year relationship almost came to a crashing halt. Was fucking devastating fingers crossed we can push through it....

Not my first and true love but we were together for 3.5 years and it ended in Nov 2008 and I still have dreams about her. It was a really horrible and messy break up.
I wish I could erase her from my memory...haven't dated anyone since.
I think I better get back in the game and move the fuck on!!!
