So yeah, I used to buy white shirts every week at primark, and throw my old ones away... it was 14 pounds a week, and I always had fresh T's. Lately I've been ballin' on the budget, so I need a way to keep them fresh while wearing them more than once...

I suck at washing... My mom used to do this shit, and I'm living on my own for 3 months now... Does anyone have some tips about keeping white shit white? And not shrinking? Brands? Methods? What degrees?

Pre-soak in that shit i mentioned in kicks thread.

Although, cheap clothing will shrink and deteriorate faster than higher quality goods (>gsm).

And ALL white t's will slowly get those minging off white patches under your arms, and round ya neck over time if you're wearing them to dances.

on a side note, is that greenock in scotland in your sig? I;ve only been ocne or twice but that was enough, Gourok was also bloody horrendous, they have an area there called 'little bosnia' ...yiikes.

Can't say I do, if you're prepared to buy them that often, you might as well order wholesale, be cheap as fuck.

Buy yeah more liekyl to shrink at higher temp, but if they're cheap as fuck, try one, then you know the rest will be ok/fail

wash all yer whites separately standard advice,also might sound weird but adding half a cup or so of lemon juice to the white wash cycle really helps too.

here is some advice, dont eat your food like an animal, and wash everyday, you wont have to wash them as much.

Uniqlo for plain tees... good quality stuff and a bit hippy-friendly. Can't go wrong.

I have no idea about washing... I just try to have enough in my wardrobe to last a very long time between washes.

Use white paint liberally. The higher the lead content the better.

My levis t-shirts are the best plain white t-shirts i've ever bought.

I put them in the same wash as my primark/topman ones and my levi ones have never shrunk and are still bright white. They have a nice thin collar line too so it doesn't itch/absorb sweat as much.
