Go to myspace, n look up Gabbanarchy...
I know, I know, gabbas horrid, but, thier circuit benders, and on top of it they have alot of modded to holy fuck n back basses n guitars n shit... look more like machines from hell at this point, but if you know about guitar circuitry, stare at thier pics for a bit, n itll start to make sense... so crazy.
N if your on about mods, n obviously have some spare pickups layin around, dude, you should so build a Whamola. Les Claypool goes nuts on em at his shows, thier bassically a pickup, a bass string, a whammy bar, n a tuning key put a 2 by 4. Ya play it wit a drumstick, n its one big bend note.
I used to play actual guitar, but, I collapsed my pinky n ring fingers on my left in a fight with my wall, lost alot of movement in em, killed the guitar for me... started mixing/producing/bending shortly later though... kinda glad it happened. Was so fuckin proud of my Warlock though... it started as a bronze n I upgraded every but the neck, cause I like the head on it classic style more...

Sack the squire and get a Highway 1 before you start fiddling or even a second hand one that's already been modded, the materials used for the body and neck of squire's ain't much good beyond learning and first gigs at most so putting different pickups or bridges in won't be worth the time or effort.
