I never realised that so many producers came from Canada.
I guess whilst being stuck in the middle of no-where you have to find something to do eh

Komodo's show includes all sorts of live instrumentation (Didgideroos!) too which is a real treat and Vipond and Living Stone from Dig.it.Al are fucking sick on the tables.
Other Montreal DJs...
Construct & Vilify
Intocabille
HGLT
Victor Hacala
Rhys Taylor
Woblz
Hosta
Oh and I got plans to get some gigs in the next few months too if all goes according to plan
In all honesty, the variety of sounds I hear on any given night here is fantastic. It's the healthiest music scene this city's had since the early 00's if you ask me.

I'm gutted that his Future Garage night is on Sundays. My one qualm about things around here is that they make it hard as hell for the working man. Fridays and Saturdays guys: we promise we won't be too busy.

We should all start up an exclusively Canadian music collective/non-profit label that focuses on dubstep and the surrounding genres (grime, dancehall, dub, DnB, etc.)
If nothing else it should at least be a good spot for people to get a sense of Canadian dubstep talent. But I think it could have a lot more potential.
Who's in?

Hey,
Cheers for the support

.
Alas, getting a regular future garage night running on a weekend night is not the easiest. However do stay on the lookout for one off future garage and deep dubstep events from the collective featuring international headliners.
In the meantime I do recommend dropping by on a Sunday to grab a pint, our night is really about the tunes so even if it's just from 10-12 it's worth dropping by! Blizzarts is a great home to our sound.
And yes intocc' is a badman!
SKIP002 Out now on 12" only (Swing and Skip Records)
