UPRISE is brainchild of musician, producer & DJ, Paul Knight.
He is equally at home on the stage as in the studio, playing hundreds of shows spanning over half a decade in his projects. He has collaborated with some of the best electronic style drummers from the east coast to the west coast. Paul has brought one of the most innovative approaches to live bass playing in electronic music, utilizing analog effects to create thick subby, wobbly and distorted tones to crush PA's everywhere. In the first six months of existence on the scene Uprise played at Oregon's Emrg+N+See festival alongside the likes of Flying Lotus as well as club gigs supporting artists such as Rusko, Big Gigantic and more. Par is one of the founders of Trinumeral, along with his partner Grant. Par has been DJing for over ten years. He was a co-founder of Switch Saturdays at PS14 in Miami, Florida and a regular resident DJ in Miami. He now lives in Asheville, NC and promotes and spins at events regularly throughout the South East.
