hi, guys!
would be great if you could peep into this one - http://yy.lv/download.php?f=18606. the track is a remix for a track called ragga train passenger (made in lv), originally a hiphop track. so i made into dubstep/jungle.
you may call it as one of those dubstep-goes-pop tracks, tho i'm more interested in the actual sound of the track (specifically - the instrumental part. unfortunately, the vocals are pre-recorded and cannot be altered).
enjoy!

"f*ck dubstep. It's played almost exclusively by self indulgent wannabe losers"

Not getting on the Ragga train
I understand that the song is a remix so this might not help.
I absolutely hate the vocals. the female lyrics are real pathetic in my opinion and the male rapping sounds dated in a cheesy way. the vocals are probably the part you want to hold onto so this might not help.
On another note, the drums in the slow part aren't full enough. you should try adding in other types of noises or drums to fill in the gaps. I would add them in at a lower volume and play around with panning and volume swells to build tension to lead up to the dancy part in the middle. Also, I wish the dancy part in the middle really stepped up a bit more (isn't Ragga supposed to be pretty damn harsh?). I feel like the song needs to pick up more. Maybe make the bass a little more gittery or add a lead or something. you could also add some more variation to your breaks.
I hope I don't sound too harsh. Im just trying to help out. I hoped you'd do the same for me if it were the other way around. Remember, these are just my opinions. Take em or leave em. Keep it up bruv.
