New to Dubstep

Hi,

A friend of mine has recently introduced me to dubstep, and im quite liking some of it, but nothing as really satisfied my need for aggressive/dark/heavy/strong/powerful dubstep. I come from a black/death metal background so im wondering if some of you could point me in the correct direction in terms of artists to give a listen.

I like my stuff aggressive and heavy. Something that would make you bowls move and your nose bleed.

I'd love to hear your thoughts.

Thanks

If I were u I'd definatley check 'Distance' because he comes from metal background too.. while you're at it defo check 'Victim Support' from Distance, on youtube or sumthin..
I REALY REALY REALY don't like so called "dubstep' from guys like 'Borgore' or Flux Pavillion or etc.. but maybe if u need agressive stuff I'd check those out..

definitely check all these guys out, I came from a mainly black metal background and these producers appeal the most to me. They find that perfect balance between the nasty & the atmospheric, so the tunes have impact but also a vibe to them. Stuff labelled 'brostep' I can take or leave, it's aggressive, works good on a floor but boring as fuck to listen to at home imo. But you make like it. Check Borgore as the leading example of bro-osity.

Also add to that list:

SPL
Boot
Antiserum
Babylon System
Matt U
Safire
Noiz
Scorn (Napalm Death member)
Black Mass Plastics

i come from a hardcore punk/death/black metal background as well, so +1 for Droid Sector and Antiserum. i was always a fan of really atmospheric black metal, so i like really spacey and atmospheric dubstep-type stuff a la Zomby.

Borgore has some interesting tracks in my humble opinion.
