FLYING LOTUS is one of these very rare artists. The clubs he performs in, the labels he works with, the records he releases and the magazines he is interviewed by are all turned into something very special and important by his every movement. To quote a recent tweet from BBC Radio One's Mary Anne Hobbs. His new album is "simply amazing...this will be one of the most important electronic albums of all time" to say this is a very special event would be an understatement. - KING MIDAS SOUND (LIVE) (Hyperdub)
Kevin (‘The Bug’) Martin’s new project, ‘King Midas Sound’, is regarded by many as the source of his finest material. Branded “a modern classic” by Boomkat.com, the eagerly anticipated debut album ‘Waiting For You’ dropped on Kode9’s Hyperdub imprint late last year. ‘KMS’ focus on the haunted and somnambulistic qualities of dub music conjuring up choking bass weight, filtered vocals, sirens and dark atmospheres from 6 feet below the rave.
