If my calculations are correct, when this baby hits 88 miles per hour, you're going to see some serious shit.

Not a massive fan of Core 2 Duo tbh......... Quadcore is the way to go. I did the switch a few weeks ago and now my PC goes like shit off a shovel.
8gb of RAM is pretty fucking buff, so no worries there.
500gb hard drive is a bit puny..... You will find your self buying an external hard drive to compliment it.

hey mate,
Alienware computers are overpriced, It has only a 11" screen and it doesnt have a cd/dvd drive. Unless you want it for portable gaming (which it is designed for) then your better off looking else where. Dell make studio laptops which for roughly the same price you can get a bigger screen and better specs.

Sorry..... got to agree with matey boy on the screen. I misread it as having a 15 inch screen.
11 inch is pretty tiny man.

Yeah man, Alienware is pretty pricey, and for the cash you could probably get something better tbh.
Look at getting that bad boy custom built, then you know it'll do exactly what you want it to... More bang for the buck that way man, and no shit you don't really need (like some sick GeForce graphics card for instance).

well I have a quadcore desktop which is my main production rig, but i want somthing portable that I can keep in my backpack.
So im not concerned with hard drive space or dvd drives, I have those covered elsewhere.
any other smallish laptops to reccomend?
