Bristol-based Soul Motive is one of the UK's most exciting up-and-coming record labels right now. With a whole host of thrilling singles already on the shelf, and a breathtaking release schedule to boot, it was only right that Mary Anne Hobbs selected Soul Motive as one of her three labels to watch in 2010 - inviting the label to put together a guest mix to feature on her BBC Radio 1 show earlier this year.

Naturally we're delighted to be playing host to the very first Soul Motive label showcase event, and we're even more delighted to announce the lineup we've assembled. One of Bristol's brightest hopes for 2010 is joined by a couple of rising stars from Nottingham and London respectively.
