Here's an interesting article - tackles the myths about immigration with a knockdown blow when you need to make someone feel foolish ;)

Here's a graph that plots the net migration alongside unemployment

Should speak for itself!

you mean apart from all the doctors, taxidrivers and shopkeepers obviously?

and who says they are our jobs?
people who apply for and pass interviews get jobs.
so if no white, english born, england living people apply for a job then no one should have it?

In Internet slang, a troll is someone who posts inflammatory, extraneous, or off-topic messages in an online community, such as an online discussion forum, chat room or blog, with the primary intent of provoking other users into an emotional response[1] or of otherwise disrupting normal on-topic discussion.

I know enough British women at home calming benefits with their many kids.
The Asians and other ethnic groups came here to work, trust me. They are very dedicated to their jobs and education.

yep

Half of the Nigerians who overstay their visas are pursued by what is now the UK Borders Agency, but only one in 50 Australians are pursued.

cos they know they'll lose us when we jump in the surf

actually, it's the first time I've really thought about it:
After thousands of generations of my ancestors living in Britain,
five generations on, ancestors having interbred with other indigenous Britains,
I have become as alien as a purebred African person.
Kinda strange.

ah well, make your bed & lie in it,
not as if I want to do anything but visit
except some ancestors didn't have a choice

I will tend to disagree - ignorance and stubbornness don't necessarily go hand in hand - by the same token being duped into believing the anti-immigration arguments doesn't make someone a racist. Frankly I think it's disgusting that the mainstream media does not present these arguments as a counterpoint to Daily Mail scaremongering.

truth...this is the real problem... if you can't pay for them yourself you shouldn't have them in the first place! :u: and if you do, why does that mean you can't work too!? (rant over)

its an interesting article not particularly cleverly written, clearly pushing the scoialist agenda as you would expect. not sure whether it's a suprise to anyone over the age of 10 that statistics can be interpreted however the publisher wishes...interestingly the author of this article makes a lot of bold statements with no facts or source to provide a basis for them.
