Ayia Napa is def the place for funky, shithole though.

Garage never even made it in ibiza and that was a relitavely established genre, House and Trance rule the white isle.
Im sure them places like Malia, Napa, Tenerife etc will have what youre after.

i'm definitely more selective with the dubstep i listen to now, croatia last year was the bomb diggy though, i'd much rather be there than in ibiza

Chew The Fat! was in one of the back rooms as Space last year.....Foamo etc. Might take off a little bit more this year and might go slightly more dubby. Twice As Nice is usuallly at Eden?! as well I think. Altho that was just filled with twats when i went. Doorly is one of the residents for Ibiza Rocks so if you look hard enough you'll find some dub/uk funky etc.

yea, we went twice as nice in eden, but eden is pisshole, es paradise was miles better, BUT the actual Twice as Nice CLUB is well plush, and the DJ was spinning old school UKG which was surprising..

@LA_Boxers where did you enjoy the most? Bora Bora was definitely a highlight, especially watching the planes come over, SO LOW!! lol, it's like you could throw a stone up & hit them..

We were staying in San Antonio literally right on the strip (v. cheap last minute thing) Spent most of our time there to be fair. Ventured to Space and Pacha. Space was definitley the best night tho. Went for Carl Cox and Friends...Pendulum were playing (this was in 2008)....and played the best set i've heard from them. The back room was rammo. Carl Cox was even behind the decks with them at one point.

You definitley have to go for the sunset on the beach by cafe del mar/cafe mambo tho. Go out for some dinner beforehand then go to a shop and grab some alcohol. Dont pay the stupid prices at the bars and sit on the (rocky) beach. its an awesome experience.
