recording in DAB isn't the future ... FM is still superior when it comes to Radio One.
On DAB they lower the bitrate of Radio 3 to 160kbps or Radio 4 to 80kbps mono in order to broadcast 5 Live SX as the BBC don't have enough bitrate to broadcast all their stations at once. I think the bitrates for DVB-S and DVB-C are the same as for Freeview (DVB-T).
