Alright this has been annoying me for quite some time now and i thought id share it wioth you guys cause im sure other ppl out there have the same problem. i usually use ableton, so when i load samples or anything like that its really easy to timestretch it. but at the moment im using reason and currently working on this remix. but it really annoys me how when you upload the sample in rex its so hard to make it in time with the track. any tips??

try using the transpose knob and fine tune to help get loops in time

this, or for a better result, export the individual samples, timestretch them with ableton, and load them into nnxt for example if you don't have recycle.
Another option is to rewire reason into ableton

humm, never really had this issue. I just load up the REX break, write it to track, and then quantize the kicks and snares. Reason does a fairly good job of making the REX break match the tempo of the track.... that's kind of the advantage of REX files.

hi,

reason isnt good for any timestretching things, afaik. would rewire or bounce out to a daw and do it there. and i guess nowadays any daw can handle rex files. at least reaper does.
