The hottest producer in the dance world at the moment, all areas of the press have tipped the London based whizkid to go massive this year. In particular the BBC Sound of 2010 named him on a shortlist of 15 best rising music stars. His epic track "Hyph Mngo" was the most forward thinking dustep track of the year combining house, garage and grime influences to create an anthem that was named as both Resident Advisor and Fact Magazine's no. 1 track of 2009. Another young producer who is set for big things, Starsmith is the producer behind the infectious pop-synth sound of Ellie Goulding. He's also been heavily active as a remixer, reworking some of the biggest names in pop such as Timbaland, Lady Gaga, Mika, Passion Pit, Little Boots and Marina & The Diamonds. Having pushed Ellie Goulding towards superstardom, he is now currently working on an album of his own material. Expect him to be making big waves in the near future.
