Oustanding 12" from the Firecrackers Fam's Fudge Fingas, dropping three heavily romantic house paeans on Prime Numbers ahead of his debut album. If you follow modern deep house you really should be familiar with the work of Fudge Fingas and his cohorts Linkwood and House Of Traps. They're making some of the realest, deepest and most effective house music coming out of the UK right now. The breadth and scope of this EP shows Fudge's versatile abilities, from slo-throbbing 100bpm house songs like 'It's About Time' which sound like Larry Heard in a dream sequence to the stunning house odyssey 'MmmHmm' tipping his cap to Juan Atkins and Tortoise with a crafty 3/4 time signature made for massive dancefloor appeal. The label has gone to town on this disc with full colour picture sleeve complementing the stupendously high quality levels within. Tip!

My fav 12" of the moment is the new C.O.M.B.I. Edit 12".......the track "Kill" is the most slammin, fonky, kick-ass, Bad-ass Disco/House floor smasher I've heard in donkey years..........definately puts massive smiles on people's face's and MOVES feet!!!! Grab it asap!!!! Infact grab all the C.O.M.B.I. Edit's mate.....they totally rule. Start with the one with "Kill" then grab the one with "Stone Water"......that track is incredible too!!!
