True dat. I just hear one tune I like and then follow the sound to different places and for me I do that when I play out and dig for..might not necessarily be all the same style..I mean one tune can just take you anywhere to another era or style...Just feel it init. Start lookin through the roots of the tune. I don't think it's really posible to like just one style or one time coz it's all linked up and what makes dj'ing and digging such a pleasure for me is spinning a story through this, spinning feelings and they can be totally different. Like sometimes I want deep house or detroit and sometimes it's the funky bashment sound and reggae/dancehall etc and sometimes I want to be ambient and you build your shit and sometimes u want to jump and make the links between it all for whatever reason.
