Basically post up your tried and tested recipes you love, be they personal ones or ones found elsewhere.

These are heavenly, I am known for making the best cookies.
The first time I made them I used self raising flower
and baking powder so they all formed into one giant cookie.
TRY IT! and follow it exactly, you will thank me.

Fry up some onions for like 10 mins until it's properly browned.
Add garlics
Add some chopped up 'posh' sausages. They will disintegrate into win.
Add mushrooms
Add two diced fat tomatoes
allow to boil and break down and release their juice
add a squeeze of tomato purée
add 3/4 pint of beef stock
2 glasses of red wine
salt
peper
oregano
fresh basil
fresh thyme
fresh rosemary
sage
a dash of lee and perrins
a pinch of paprika
a tea spoon of Marmite
once the pasta/spaghetti is cooked, add it to the pan of sauce and cook it for 5 mins so the pasta soaks up the juice.

- bbq chicken -
big dollup of tommy k in a cup
add tex-mex seasoning
add little bit of brown sugar
(any thing else you have in the cupboard is good here too, brown sauce, leah and perrins etc..)
stir
cover chicken in sauce you just prepared
put in oven for however long that size of chicken takes
add some cheese ontop just before ready and allow to get a bit burnt
eat with some veg and and pasta.
and a big glass of milk

I'm murk this thread when I get back... I made myself and a few friends some homestyle nandos the other night, 3 HENCH meals for under a tenner = fucking super win, chicken, sweet mash and rice, the boys couldn't believe how good it was, but that's the good thing about friends who can't cook, they're so easily impressed...

Mushroom Bread Pudding:
http://www.epicurious.com/recipes/food/ ... ese-236494
I make this once in a while and always make my own variations, and it always get lots of compliments.
Last time I used sourdough bread, more garlic, red onion, no bell pepper, and shredded then blended parmesan/romano/swiss cheeses, and everyone finished it off before the main course. It's really filling, but so fucking good.
