36 DEEP in association with KFM are very proud to present to you, the Auckland leg of the tour for Mark Pritchard (aka Harmonic 313, Jedi Knights, Africa Hi Tech, Global Communication, etc) to promote his forthcoming album.
As is clear by this man’s long list of aliases he is a prolific artist and one that spans many a genre boundary, with a recent release on Kode 9’s Hyperdub, Warp recordings, a feature on Mary Anne Hobbs’ Wild Angels compilation and many more. His most recent release on the prestigious Deep Medi Musik, a label run by Mala, brings us two of his finest cuts, ‘Heavy as Stone’ and ‘Elephant Dub’. Now trust, these tunes have names alluding to deep dark Bass for a very good reason, Mark is a master of the art of production and his sets are testament to this. Look forward to many a selection from his fine past and fresh cuts from his newest studio forays both solo and as a collaborator on projects with the likes of Steve Spacek and Om’ Mas Keith and Grime don Wiley.
As always with 36 DEEP production, there will be an emphasis on sound quality and vibes in the place, and we are very excited to be working with KFM in what will be the first international DJ set at their fine HQ on K’ Rd.
