from Boomkat.....
"BD1982, aka Brian Durr, is a producer/DJ who has an ever evolving sound thats rooted in organic tones and textures colliding with off-center dance structures. Currently residing in Japan, Brian has also made his home in Philadelphia and New York, during which time he began working with Starkey and Dev79's Seclusiasis crew and has showcased tracks on the label's acclaimed 'Street Bass Anthems' mixtapes. Since moving to Japan he's become a staple in the scene, including regular DJ slots at Goth-Trad's popular 'Back To Chill' parties in Tokyo. And now we are poised to see BD1982's debut album turn heads with his unique interpretations of uk funky, dubstep, street bass and grime-hop all fused together in his own unique style."
