Recommend me a good film to watch!

I Don't 'do' musicals, and I don't really want to watch The Book of Eli as am not into Christian bible bashers (would watch it though if I could find a good DVDR or Screener of it, just cam copies atm)

I am trying to think the name of a Spanish film I watched a couple of years ago, it was about a group of people who thought luck was something that could be traded and gathered. It was excellent and quite far out but I am buggered if I can remember the name of it

Dead Man's Shoes was the darkest film I've ever seen. It's the only film where I can remember it finishing, and just sitting there staring, puffing on a cigarette for a while - wide-eyed and disturbed.
