They could be tedious on low resource pcs, and i get that side of that debate, but, I love them, I constantly play button during threads, haha...

I find that because everybody has soundcloud or some other promo in their sig, when I do infact decide to listen to music, it's almost arbitrary.

sometimes I read threads and someone will make a point that someone else doesn't agree with. Next thing they do is copy & paste their "Joined (such and such date)" as if that fact has any sort of validity.
but then again I guess it's probably a joke that nobody takes seriously.
