Never thought I'd hear juke discussed on DSF

Yungman/D-man
Gnat-Man
Dj Deeon
Dj Clent
Chi Boogie
Dj Omega
Dj Surgeon

A lot of the stuff is by artists classified under ghetto house. I still hear Disco P, Dj Godfather is credited on every third or fourth juke record, and Assault, or Funk stuff is still pretty common.

This Murderbot mix is pretty mandatory

juke, jit, w/e u want 2 call it...

findin the stuff aint 2 hard, it's on youtube like most other ug music.. slugo is a cool guy, very down 2 earth so i always like 2 recommend him 2 ppl.. aside frum that if u want 2 hear the real juke, u go 2 the club and find it!!!!! there is rly no other way to get ahold of most of hte best mixtapes, etc. . . it just is whut it is u kno?? ppl like mad decent, etc. . . have been tryn 2 populerize the sound but they r still so far from the heart of it..

in the same way that u cannot understand dubstep w/o having experianced it 1st hand, juke keeps 2 itself.. eithar way, forget philly/baltimore/chicago, i still think DC is up 2 the next big thing.. watch && wait :D

boss of the south is getting dropped in my set this weekend
so is footcrab
need some more jukey bits.

TBH, i dont think its 2 far off dubstep as it is.
From what i remember dubstep is just about anything which revolves around bass so i dont see why juke cant be classified

HA!

funny to see kids jumping on the juke bandwagon. We been running that game in the chitown-motor (murder city) for a long time. I still got all my databass records!!!!!!!

I was wondering whether footcrab has been adopted by the Juke scene, any Juke DJs playing it?

I couldn't imagine any footworking would be going on to Footcrab. It's too slow

be surprised. it's not Juke as such, more dubstep with a juke influence... hence the halfstep (and it's about 10bpm too slow, as pointed out above)
