..... I believe he uses massive... really like the sound on his newer stuff like the remix of the constellations... anyone know how he gets those really cool arpeggiated like zappy synths on top?

do u mean the arps at the end? couldnt u get like a 8bit vst and add some lfo or a slight attack? and just arp out some notes

he may use reason and logic but he definitely uses massive to get those sounds... you can see it in the mary building the beat video... dosent have reason on at all.... listen to fidelio... thats a much clearer representation of what im talking about... and its not just those top synths that sound so energetic... but really all of them have such a natural energy for being digital.

Do a search in this forum for Starkey, someone asked about his synths before and he responded and said he uses Reason.

I am fairly certain that the person who would be most knowledgeable about what Starkey uses would be Starkey.

But.... its synths are very straightforward? And all synths can make the same sounds just use different workflows and techincal occurances to producethe same output?
