layer a sine wave under your wobble. open 3xosc, turn all of the crs knobs right down and have it playing the same notes as your wobble using notes around c4

if you haven't written a full-on banger by 2 weeks in then you may as well throw in the towel.

You laugh but I read a thing on DOA pretty much saying this. Although I think they gave you 6 months

In logic its important not to turn up the drive on the es2 synth if thats what you used for wobble it kills the bass.. also if you are using a compressor the logic compressor also kills sub bass... it also seems that if you are using the es2 there may be too many modifiers on the pitch so the speakers dont have time to make the low wave form

Seriously try the layering the sub/sine wave underneath your wobble, and wobble the amp rather than filter cutoff at the same speed preferably, i halfs sometimes....
Also, make a sub and mix your entire track to that, turn the sub-bass as loud as it can go without clipping, then add everything else to fit within the bass volume... high frequencies are percieved louder than lows, just like blue light is brighter than red... faster waves pierce the slower ones... so make you bass really loud before adding in all the high frequency ranged sounds
and if you don't have a sub-woofer, like me, then you will face SERIOUS problems... on my little baby monitors I have no bass, and once I get it and put it on a system... the bass overkills and you can't hear the song anymore... so be careful with those sub-sonics my friends

That dosent sound like the best Idea... at all it depends on what volume you are playing the track at as well... If you mix at a lower volume the bass increases when it is played at a higher volume. How could you possibly say structure a tune around a sub bass line... thats why you are running into problems. It is also a bad Idea to get it as loud as you can without clipping.... its more of a blend between multiple basses that makes a tune unique. for example this tune im producing with a friend has many basses and a pumping sub...
