looking to buy el-b/oris jay/etc 12"es

Post by spotrusha » Thu Jan 25, 2007 8:20 am

hit me up if you're trying to get rid of any classic garage. i'm looking for pretty much anything by el-b, oris jay, steve gurley, zed bias, groove chronicles, jammin, etc. even anything on locked on or so solid stuff. all that shit.
i know this stuff goes for fairly cheap on ebay, and i live in the states and we have to pay double for everything because of the exchange rate so i end up paying 3 times the record price for the shipping!

Looks like the same stuff I'm buying at the moment. If you can switch to mp3, you can get quite a bit of the old Ghost Trax, Shelflife stuff up there fairly cheap. With the Groove Chronicles stuff, quite a bit of it's been reissued, you should still be able to find Masterplan, Stone Cold and 1999 out there at Juno, Hard to Find and (possibly) Chemical Records
Hmm....

Great period of music i am only retorpectivley appreciating through getting into grime/dubstep. Tracing the roots back. Brasstooth, El-B, Zed Bias etc.

Best source i've found so far is ebay - though even in UK i usually end up spending same on postage as on actual records.

Not much help i'm afraid then

I've made some pretty good finds here:

Used records mostly, but always in decent condition.
