This site is priceless:
www.freesound.org

Search here for MP3 files (i.e. search for tracks with keywords, like 'violin' 'percussion' etc etc)
www.mp3raid.com

Get a program such as 'freecoder' which will allow you to record anything that's playing in your browser... youtube videos etc

Amples of ways to get sounds, though I recomend trying those over striving for 'dubstep packs' as the majority of the 'dub' noises are better to make yourself starting out with simple wav files etc. Don't get trapped with other peoples' drum loops either

as gay as youtube can be, it's pretty much one of the top resources for samples imo.

i wouldn't normally go near youtube for samples because of quality issues but those videos of that ginger kid going off had some quality little bits. sampled him making those angry noises

I've sampled from youtube alot, I don't see anything wrong with the quality when it's within the track, I agree it sounds shitty on its own but a bit of compression & EQ sometimes fix the sample.

and a little google search trick:

Search for: breaks:index.of wav

then replace the word "breaks" with whatever you want. Jazz, Atmosphere, Vocals, ex.
