Re: How is this made?
Yes sounds to me like vocoder with FX, maybe the notes played on the synth are delayed due to FX or Midi, can't be sure

Re: How is this made?
she stacked dozens of vocoded vocal lines to create the harmony. anyway, check this.
EDIT: i also read somewhere that she didn't use vocoders, but this: http://www.tc-helicon.com/voicelive2.asp

Re: How is this made?
nope, she doesnt stack them, she just plays chords through a vocoder... in this vid she also uses heavier delay:

yea i have her future music class somewhere i think i could upload if wanted
Re: How is this made?
It's a vocoder with some organ modulating the voice.
She wrote and recorded that song in less than a day because once its written its basically just one take of singing and playing the keyboard to record (as well as some overdubs here and there).

Mega respect for her and ultra envy of the way she, like many talented musicians, can sing and know how to play keys/chords/scales??? To match. I imagine it's awesome to be able to translate what you hear in your head.
Re: How is this made?
what?? are you saying you aren't a musician? you can't play piano?? how do you produce???

^ I'm saying I couldn't think up a song and then immediately play along to what I was hearing or singing.
