Was listening to a Niney dub cd on Trofjan the other week and found the vocal sample: Drnnis Brown - You And Your Smiling Face and it's a tune..classic 70's roots..

Is the Digital Mystikz - Ancient Memories a Sizzla sample?

If I had connections / money/ a record label, I'd give that Skream August mix a full release on CD together with a vinyl double pack of the best 8 or so cuts.

But I haven't, so I just have to wish and hope someone else will do it.

COME ON people it's NOT about pointing out sample sources online. every time you do it it makes it LESS likely that the track EVER comes out!

btw: in the Stuck on DMZ005 there is a hungarian sample. "A Bajcsi-Zsilinszky út következik" - this is from the Underground no.1. in Budapest as it says "the forthcoming station is the Bajcsi-Zsilinszky street"

I thought it must be just a joke as I first heard it in the mix kode9b2bmala@rinse exclusive to this mix. I didn't think it will release with this sample - but it did. I find this idea funny, it's okay but I don't think it fits to this really big track - but this is my subjective opinion. The people will look at me :shock: :shock: when I will play this on some party in Hungary.

you can't really get that far by just hoping no one with a lawyer notices that you've sampled someone else's material. sometimes you just have to suck it up and pay your dues.

smiling face is a sick sick tune.

the blurb that was circulated for HF010 had a guess at what got sampled in sunshine, it's all over the net if you a search for that release although they weren't totally correct about what they said it was.

i think the sort of thing that one might want to be hushed about on the internet is that Datura is a hitherto leagal drug. so are some other things...2ci... remember all that...taht was too much blabbering perhaps. im going to be quiet for a let a bit slip about cacti.

IF THE SAMPLE IS GONNA COST LOTS OR BE RETRACTED DROP IT ON DUBPLATE .

Very true and a good point, but I wouldn't worry too much this time, Breakage seems to get away with sample abuse of this kind without trouble

Think this particular sample was in a teebee or calyx track in the last year or so too.

Talking bout sample clearance... or not as the case maybe...
