Dubstep in Stoke on Trent

Saturday 3rd March - Keele Univeristy & The Pig & Rat present the 1st major dubstep event in Stoke on Trent.

Special guest djs to include - Ramadan Man, Heny G (TBC) & Lucky Strike (TBC) alongside resident Dasha & MC Staja

No way!!!! Too rude. I was resident DJ at the pig when i was there 3 years ago...wicked little venue with v cheap drinks. Good to see dubstep getting repped still.

this must be the first official dubstep lineup stoke has seen, i'm quite amazed in fact that i hadnt heard bout it!

fairly gutted that im gonna be in Berlin at the time, been meanin to check a ramadanman set for time, my girl too but she's in south america til april anyways. Would be too strange seein that in Stoke. Expect some baffled expressions.

In my second year at Keele now. We been running a little residency there for a while. Now we'r stepping it up this year. It got refurbed end of last year plus complete revamp on the soundsystem so we'r ready for 2007.

The student union is bollox here. They dont rep any other kinda music apart from the ocassional drum n bass nite so its kinda d.i.y policy at the Pig & Rat but they support us 100%. People are starting to feel the sound up here and we get good numbers each week so it aint too alien to them.

All DJ's have now confirmed so guna be a big 1. Ramadan Man, Heny G b2b Jay Five & Lucky Strike.
