how to mix dubstep with dnb

Dubstep is approx 140bpm while DNB is approx 170bpm. I've heard Rusko and Excision etc... mix dubstep tracks into DNB tracks.
Anyone know how to do this? I have no idea how you could even beat match these together since they are such different BPMs....
This is very puzzling to me

DNB is not approx 140BPM
Generally if you beatmatch drum and bass with a dubstep record it will sound crap, and vise versa
Occasionally there are drum and bass songs which break down into 140bpm like Dirtyphonics - Quarks which you can make the transition with but apart from that its very hard to get right

you can't beatmatch them.
im sure you can find songs with beatless intro/transitions that could move from one to the other pretty easily though.
i think it's stupid though. leave the dnb for dnb.
not into the half dubstep/half dnb sets.

Here's how you do it...
pull the dubstep record off and go "BO BO BO" and then put the dnb song on, haha
There's really no way to beat match the two very smoothly, I think it's mostly at the few times where the music stops completely that you can throw on a new tempo range

this. DnB sucks. Jungle rules.
but on a serious tip, if you want to mix two songs of varying tempos, you cant do it through beat matching so use creativity through blends, cuts, scratches or use a piece of ambient music in between. remember beat matching is only a tiny part of being a dj
edit: sometimes i use a record that has movie samples or something like that in between... it's all about creativity, the sky's the limit
