the wobbles are shit

jakwob and mt. eden produce the exact same way

they have good melodies and background sounds

then they ruin the whole track by putting out of tune, off key wobbles with a constant rate on top of it

an example of this actually done well is this

Couple of the tracks are cool (melody) but 90% of them are remixes (par) and 90% of them dont have a friggin sub. Considering the sub bass and tempo are the only real requirements i guess he gets a 50%...or an F.

yes

'burial' is generally the correct answer to any thread in the 'dubstep' section
IMHO

sometimes you can just get away with saying 'DMZ collab' as well

:w:

i really like his tracks but i can't wrap my head around why he gets so much attention, radio1 play etc...because his wobbles are just so fucking generic

I don't get it,

this is a really good song till 1:00,

why do people feel the need to take melody like this and then have to add a wobble which doesn't compliment it.

It's like this

"Take a listen to this track bro"
"Yah nice melody man but err theres no wobble?"
"Yeah man thought I'd do it without for this one"
"That's cool but you know if there's just melody and no wobble then you're gay right?"
" :o shiiiiiiii....."

Since late 06 it's been the formula for a lot of unimaginative productions. People eat it up

I didn't actually think this track was too bad... The wobbles were working for me
