What type of synth are you guys looking for?
Do you want something clean, or something already processed?

do it yourself? either use single note samples of guitars or organs and make your own chords or sample chords and put them on beats 2 and 4 at 140bpm. add reverb and delay and other effects. if you want a more synthy sound then make one with a synth?

This is an excellent suggestion.
At Frank Grimes: That would be great.

Here we are. Nothing elaborate, but that should give you an idea of what you're after.
Try adding a short tape delay on the clean version.

Like the others said, it's pretty simple.
Obviously you should have a try at making your own, I personally use them frequently in one form or another.
If you make something with them, I'd love to hear it.
